Patients with deformation on their face but stay away from facelift have preferred suspension techniques in recent years. In the suspension technique, specially designed ropes for the face area are used. There are notches on these ropes containing different technologies. With these notches, the tissues under the skin are hung up. These strands are transported to the areas with sagging from the scalp or cheekbone area and these areas are hung up.
An average of 4-5 pairs of ropes are used with this method. These ropes are of 2 types as self-melting ropes or non-melting silicone ropes on the body. Permanent threads that do not melt will stay with you for life. The effect is longer lasting because the ropes do not melt. Self-melting threads disappear on their own under the skin within 8-12 months. After the threads melt, the hanging effect continues for another 6 months. After the ropes melt, sagging reappears.
